Hi, we`re Ajabez. Here`s a bit more info for those of you who do not know us yet:

We are young Bulgarian musicians (quite young in fact - our youngest member has just turned 18) who want to bring hope and touch people from our generation through the music we create. It was for this reason that we created Ajabez in autumn of 2005.

The people

Today Ajabez is: Boyana Zheliazkova (violin, backing vocals), Vasil `Vaseto` Krumov (guitar), Milen Raykov (drums), Christian Rahnev (bass) and Mihail Stefanov (lead vocal). Since the band was created other great musicians played with us - great people who are among our closest friends today.

Our Causes

As musicians and public figures we believe that we can and we must influence people`s life in a positive way. For this reason we have chosen to dedicate and time and efforts in support of two causes:

1. City Children – we are deeply involved with the problems of Bulgarian teenagers living in big cities. It is them we want to reach with our music and show them a way different than desperation, drugs and death. A way going through faith and hope and leading to life.

2. Afrika – Milen, our drummer, has been travelling on missions to refugee camps in Northern Uganda for second year now. By supporting him, we raise awareness on Uganda situation but we believe our vision will be enlarged soon and we`ll be able to help people from other African countries as well.

Our Music

Our music hardly fits any narrow style definition. We sound mostly rock but sometimes we look for combinations with traditional Bulgarian ethno elements or seek a more funky sounding. What`s more important about our music is the fact that it comes from our hearts and make people see the world in a different way. This is what we hope we`ll always preserve.

Our Friends

We don`t like the word `fans` - we prefer having `friends`. Friendship is what connects people, brings support, hope, smile - the very things we want to give with our music as well. For this reason we have a great number of friends who love us - we are trying to give our love back all the time. 

Our Gigs 

We`ve taken part in over 30 music events since we exist, including some outside of Bulgaria (Serbia & Hungary). We have a few successful gigs in popular Sofia clubs as well.

Our Awards

We`ve won a few awards for our short history - we were chosen to be The Best Young Bulgarian Band in the National TV contest. We have also won the first place in Sonic-Bang! contest thus becoming the first Bulgarian band to win a worldwide distribution of an album.
